The New England Patriots Struggle in the SuperBowl

The New England Patriots have a history of being among the best teams in the NFL. Patriots have won six Super Bowls thanks to their strong defense and explosive offense, most recently in 2018.

They are a team that is always in contention for the Lombardi Trophy, and with a young core of players, they are poised to make another run at the title in 2019.

The Patriots have the record for the most Super Bowl wins (6, which is tied together with Pittsburgh Steelers), appearances (11), and losses (5 which are that are tied together with Denver Broncos. They were established in 1959 under the name Boston Patriots and have been productive ever since.

Further Difficulties for the Patriots’ team

Realizing the team’s performance and future success, current franchise owner Robert Kraft, who bought the team in 1994, revamped the team. The team is currently the ninth most valuable sports team in the world due to the hard work and good training of the team’s staff and players.

The team was generally unsuccessful in the previous century. But in this century from 2001 to 2019 the team received good coaching under head coaches Belichick and Brady. Brady’s sincerity, good coaching, and aggressive play dominated the game. As a result, the Patriots have claimed every major Super Bowl record with their performance.

The NewYork Giants

The New York Giants football team was founded by Tim Mara with an investment of US$500 in 1925 and became one of the first teams in the NFL in 1926. To differentiate themselves from the baseball team of the same name, they took the name “New York Football Giants”. which they still use as their legal corporate name.

After initial financial struggles, the Giants led the league in attendance several times in the 1930s and 1940s. In the 1960s, they pushed for equal sharing of revenue for the benefit of the entire league, a practice that is still practiced today. In 1991, Tim Mara sold his share of the New York Giants franchise to Bob Tisch for a reported $80 million.

In 2005, Wellington Mara, who had been with the team since its inception in 1925 when he worked as a ball boy, died at the age of 89. In 2015, Wellington’s widow and Giants co-owner Ann died due to complications from a head injury suffered in a fall.

Further Struggles of Team The NewYork Giants

The New York Giants finished the 2017 season with a 3–13 record, the second-worst in the league. This was the first time since 1983 that the team finished with three or less wins. The disastrous season led to the team being awarded the second overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. The New York Giants finished last place in the NFC East for the second consecutive season. In the 2020 season, Daniel Jones took over as starting quarterback, and the team finished 6–10.

Super Bowl Struggles The Giant

The Giants began the 2012 season with a 6–2 record and on a four-game winning streak that included a 26–3 road victory against the NFC champion San Francisco 49ers. They rebounded to win the next four games in a row to improve to 4–6 but lost a critical home game to the Dallas Cowboys on a last-minute field goal. They finished the season 7–9 and with a losing record for the first time since 2004. The 2015 season was another disappointing campaign, as the Giants showcased a struggling defense and several late-game collapses.

Who is the stronger between the two teams?

The franchise enjoyed a period of dominance under head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady from 2001 to 2019.
