Everyone’s imagination about the World Cup final seems to have succumbed to the drama of this match. For 120 minutes, someone was changing the script of the match without noticing. Sometimes leaning towards Argentina, sometimes towards France. Messi’s penalty and Di Maria’s great goal made the match seem one-sided in the first half, it seemed that Argentina would easily win the World Cup, but the match changed drastically in the second half.

The hero of this episode is Emiliano Martinez. By preventing the penalty, he made Argentina reach the World Cup title after 36 years. It was Martinez who denied Randal Kolo Muani a goal in the very last minute of the game. Calling it the best save of the World Cup might be an understatement.
